Overview
HAN (한) is an AI-powered Korean language learning platform designed to make language acquisition more personalized, structured and engaging. It connects vocabulary memorization, grammar practice and conversational development — normally scattered across separate apps and textbooks — into one centralized learning experience: a personal vocabulary library, flashcards with spaced repetition, interactive learning games, AI-generated reading activities, grammar explanations, writing feedback and an AI conversation tutor.
The problem
Language learning is often fragmented, repetitive and disconnected from real-world communication. Vocabulary lists, grammar notes, listening materials and speaking exercises live in separate places; standardized lessons ignore a learner's existing vocabulary and pace; and isolated memorization rarely translates into spontaneous conversation — with no immediate feedback and no clear progress indicators to keep a routine going.
