Overview
PrepSet is an AI-powered educational productivity platform I conceptualized, designed and developed to address the everyday challenges teachers face. Drawing on my professional experience as an educator, I brought classroom management, structured lesson planning, worksheet and quiz generation, student assessment, document creation and an integrated AI assistant into one workspace. The platform has moved beyond personal experimentation: several teaching colleagues currently use it in their daily work, creating opportunities to refine the product through real classroom use and feedback.
The problem
Teachers should spend more time teaching, not managing paperwork. Lesson preparation, curriculum planning, resource development, grading, individualized reports and parent communication are essential, but managing them across disconnected applications adds repetitive work. Student progress becomes harder to follow across subjects and assessment periods, while general-purpose AI tools lack the classroom context needed for relevant support. What if educators could plan, create, assess and receive contextual AI assistance in one workspace?
The solution
One intelligent workspace for the entire teaching workflow. PrepSet follows the way teachers actually work: organize classes, plan lessons, generate learning materials, record assessments, prepare reports and draft communications. Customizable document tools connect resource creation with editing, printing and PDF export. Contextual AI supports instructional and administrative tasks using relevant records when available. Teachers retain control over the final output — the goal is to reduce unnecessary repetition, not replace professional judgment.

AI That Supports Teacher Judgment
AI is built into the tools educators already need rather than offered only as an isolated chatbot. Worksheet and quiz generators turn instructions and source materials into learning activities; progress comments translate available performance information into draft evaluations. The assistant can help with parent communication using relevant classroom records when available. Every generated resource and evaluation should be reviewed for accuracy, educational appropriateness and alignment with student needs before use.
Built From Classroom Experience
As both a teacher and the product creator, I approached PrepSet through everyday tasks: weekly lesson plans, worksheet preparation, assessment, progress reports and parent communication. My role covered identifying the problem, defining features, designing the interface, developing application functionality and integrating AI-assisted workflows. The project brought together educational knowledge, structured data management and document-generation tools with a practical principle: a feature is only useful when teachers can understand it, trust it and fit it into a demanding workday.
Visual Design & Brand Identity
Intelligent tools. Effortless teaching. A clean white workspace, soft lavender emphasis and violet-to-blue AI accents make the product modern without overwhelming educators. Consistent sidebar navigation, approachable rounded elements and clear typography connect dashboards, forms, grade tables and document editors. The design prioritizes clarity, consistency, efficiency and human-centered AI, keeping classroom content at the center of the experience.
